Since 1990, as a journalist specialized in the area of Culture / Literature, she has worked as a reporter (Visão, Espresso, Grande Reportagem, Ler, JL, O Independente, Escrita em Dia / SIC), editor , East / SIC News, Magazine and Books / RTP2), critic and commentator (Acontece and Jornal2, RTP2) and consultant (Câmara Clara, RTP2). He was awarded the National Sampaio Bruno Culture Prize in 1996.
In 2006, she created the LPC (Contemporary Portuguese Literature) Reading Community, dedicated to contemporary Portuguese literature, where more than 60 Portuguese authors spent as guests. In 2011, she signed the authorship, edition and presentation of the program “Nós e os Clássicos”, screened by SIC Notícias.
In 2015, she signed the new editorial concept and directed the magazine EPICUR. Since 2004, she has created and guided several cycles of literature dissemination or active citizen participation.
Nowadays, she has signed literary criticism in the newspapers Sol and “i” and in the magazine Ler, collaborates with several other publications and directs formations in literary creative writing.
Since 2017, she coordinates and ministers the first Portuguese post-graduation in Escrita de Ficção, at the Lusófona University, in Lisbon.
Her first novel, This Is My Body (Themes and Debates / Sextant), dates from 2001 and has been published in Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Brazil. Her short stories are published in several Portuguese and international publications and anthologies.
In 2015, she published the story book The Last Sailors (ed. Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation). In 2017, she published the non-fiction book Sentimental Dictionary of Adultery (Quetzal).
