<div>A <strong>researcher of spirituality and religiosity</strong> (from old to new, from peaceful to violent, from exoteric to esoteric), he has been studying Quinta da Regaleira since 1989, and has begun to publish various articles and books on the work of Carvalho Monteiro and Luigi Manini, 1990-91. He has been one of the greatest disseminators of Regaleira, particularly in its symbolic, mythical and initiatory dimension.</div>

Nacional of the Great Independent Priory of Lusitania of the Order of C.B.C.S. &#8211; Rectified Scottish Rite or Regime and then, from 2001 to 2004, Grand Master of GLLP / GLRP, where he founded in 1990/1 Loja Quinto Império and later moved to Loja Teixeira de Pascoaes. It has several Decorations, Orders and Degrees of various Rites and Regimes, national and foreign. <div>He holds a bachelor&#8217;s degree in chemistry and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, respectively in 1973 and 1975. He was a research collaborator at the Chemistry-Physics and Radiochemistry Center of the (former) Instituto de Alta Cultura, from 1973 to 1976 and had a scholarship from the Spanish Government for a Postgraduate in Madrid in 1977/78, the Faculty of Sciences of the Complutense University and the Institute of Chemistry-Physics Rocasolano &#8220;of the&#8221; Higher Institute of Scientific Research &#8221; .</div>

<div>He was assistant of the Chair of Biomathematics at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (Santa Maria Hospital) in 1976/77, having received a scholarship in 1977/78 for the aforementioned postgraduate studies.</div>

<div>From 1978 to 1997, she was a Senior Criminal Examiner at the Judicial Police Scientific Police Laboratory. She trained in the Israeli National Police Laboratory in Jerusalem in 1986 and was present at various stages and congresses in the area of Scientific Police ( Trace Analysis and Explosive Analysis) in Israel, Germany, France and England. He was Coordinator of two Committees of Experts of the Assembly of the Republic, on the &#8220;Camarate Case&#8221;. He introduced in the LPC / PJ the X-ray Microanalysis and the Scanning Electron Microscope.</div>

<div>He was a guest assistant at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities from 1986/7 to 2004/5 and taught Mathematics Chairs for Social and Human Sciences, Statistics and Quantitative Methods in the Departments of Anthropology, Political Science and International Relations and History.</div>

<div>He has also taught, in recent years, the Chair of Anthropology of Religion in the Department of Anthropology of that Faculty.</div>

<div>He is a member of the &#8220;European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism&#8221; (chaired by Prof. Wouter Hanegraaff and Antoine Faivre), presented a paper (related to his PhD work) and moderated one of the tables (on religion in Central Asia) at the International Congress on New Religious Movements and Alternative Spiritualities (NMR / EA) at the London School of Economics, an organization of CESNUR (led by Dr. Massimo Introvigne) and INFORM (chaired by Prof. Eileen Barker).</div>

<div>He received his Doctorate in Social and Cultural Anthropology (in the area of Anthropology of Religion and New Religious Movements) at the FCSH / UNL in April 2009, having been unanimously approved and obtained from the Jury the classification of Very Good with Distinction and Praise. In June 2009 he held a conference on the topic of his PhD thesis at the Bucharest People&#8217;s University.</div>

He regularly participates as an occasional commentator in various media (newspapers, magazines, radio and TV) on terrorism, organized and violent and serious crime, scientific police and internal security.</div>

<div>He was awarded the silver medal of the C.M. Sintra for the initiative of asking the IPPAR to classify that Quinta as a &#8220;property of public interest&#8221;.</div>

<p>In 2006, she created the LPC (Contemporary Portuguese Literature) Reading Community, dedicated to contemporary Portuguese literature, where more than 60 Portuguese authors spent as guests. In 2011, she signed the authorship, edition and presentation of the program &#8220;Nós e os Clássicos&#8221;, screened by SIC Notícias.</p>
<p>In 2015, she signed the new editorial concept and directed the magazine EPICUR. Since 2004, she has created and guided several cycles of literature dissemination or active citizen participation.</p>
<p>Nowadays, she has signed literary criticism in the newspapers Sol and &#8220;i&#8221; and in the magazine Ler, collaborates with several other publications and directs formations in literary creative writing.</p>
<p>Since 2017, she coordinates and ministers the first Portuguese post-graduation in Escrita de Ficção, at the Lusófona University, in Lisbon.</p>
<p>Her first novel, This Is My Body (Themes and Debates / Sextant), dates from 2001 and has been published in Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Brazil. Her short stories are published in several Portuguese and international publications and anthologies.</p>
<p>In 2015, she published the story book The Last Sailors (ed. Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation). In 2017, she published the non-fiction book Sentimental Dictionary of Adultery (Quetzal).</p>

He was the Commissioner of several exhibitions and exhibitions, namely the Mafra &#8211; do Regicide Exhibition on October 5, destined for the National Palace of Mafra and integrated in the official Commemorations of the Centenary of the Implantation of the Republic (2010). Currently, he is a Professor at IADE-U, Institute of Art, Design and Business &#8211; University, as well as collaborator of UNIDCOM (idem) and CLEPUL (Faculty of Arts of the Universidade Clássica de Lisboa).</div>

<h4>Colonel Américo Henriques was Professor at the Institute and High Military Studies; commanded Troops at the Infantry Practice School and Infantry Regiment n. 15 in Tomar, at which time the Convent of Christ aroused its greatest dedication and study.</h4>

<p>He was Chief of Staff of the Operational Command of the Azores, Military Attaché of Portugal in Washington and Information Officer at the headquarters of the NATO in Brussels.</p>
<p>He served a Service Commission in the Commandos Battalion of Mozambique during the Overseas War in 1972 &#8211; 1973, and this was the highest point of his Military career.</p>

<h4>He was awarded with several National and Foreign decorations, of them being highlighted the Gold Medal of Distinguished Services and the Degree of Commander of the Military Order of Santiago of the Sword imposed by The President of the Portuguese Republic on 10 Jun 11.</h4>
<p>Infantry Colonel, &#8220;Command&#8221; in the Retirement situation, was born in Lisbon on May 25, 1946 and graduated from the Military Academy in 1970, being promoted to Ensign Infantry in that year.</p>
<p>He is qualified with the Course of Staff of the Portuguese Armies and the United Kingdom.</p>
<p>In his life dedicated to the study and teaching of Military History, he has guided national and international visits to the battlefields of Aljubarrota, Buçaco, Roliça, Vimeiro and Montes Claros, as well as the fortresses of Tomar and Almeida.</p>
<p>Among the various themes that have been addressed in the History of Portugal, highlights the Crisis of 1383-1385, fundamentally related to the battles of Atoleiros and Aljubarrota, whose battlefields have given several conferences and guided tours, both private and official, extending these visits to the Batalha Monastery, where he talks about the Avis Dynasty, the Chapel of the Founder and the Pantheon of that Dynasty until the Infante D. Afonso, son of King João II. Also visit the Imperfect Chapels, where the King is buried. Duarte.</p>
<p>Within the History of Portugal, another theme that has been dedicated is the War of the Acclamation, about which he has lectured in Portugal and Spain, and his speech at the official ceremonies on 1 December in Lisbon. lectures on this topic, extended to the Cause of Independence of Portugal, delivered at the Superior School of War in Madrid, and intended for students of the Course of General Officers of the Spanish Army. On this theme, we highlight the guided visit to the battlefield of Montes Claros.</p>
<p>He has also dedicated his attention to the theme related to the Period of the First and Second Liberalisms.</p>
<p>Thus, in visits and conferences, the theme has been addressed in the Institute of Military Studies, the Portuguese Committee on Military History, the Royal Tauromáquico Club, Turf Club, Viana do Castelo and Mafra, and this study was extended with visits guided to the battlefield of Asseiceira, and to the Church of Santo André de Frades, village of Póvoa de Lanhoso, where began the Revolution of Maria da Fonte.</p>
<p>The Military Orders of the Poor Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ from the Temple of Solomon, universally known as the Templars, and the Templars, are mentioned in a preliminary conference for the visit to the Convent of Christ and the Church of Santa Maria do Olival in Tomar. Poor Knights of Our Lord Jesus Christ, successor of that one and known like Order of Christ.</p>
<p>This visit, which has been carried out both nationally and internationally, officially or privately, consists of an afternoon visit to Santa Maria and the Convent, where a historical description of the two Orders is made, emphasizing its importance for the Monument.</p>

<p>During the visit, we also try to address episodes of our history linked to that extraordinary Monument.</p>
<p>Traditionally, the visit to Almeida seeks to coincide with the celebrations of the siege and fall of the village during the third French invasion, and has as a high point the recreation of a battle of the Napoleonic period. Taking advantage of this visit, the author has guided a visit to the battlefield of Fuentes de Oñoro, scene of the last episode of the so-called French invasions of Portugal.</p>
